James Stephenson's "La Grande Vitesse" premiered on October 29 and 30, 2009 with the Grand Rapids Symphony in their Rising Stars Series. According to Jeffrey Kaczmarczyk of the Grand Rapids Press, "The real Rising Star was composer James M. Stephenson, whose Triple Concerto for Brass was premiered. ...
